Groninger Studentenplatform voor Levensbeschouwing (GSp)

GSp is one of the facilities for RUG and Hanze students. 
It focuses on the philosophy of life and society the way other facilities concern culture (Usva) and sports (ACLO).GSp is a place where religious and philosophical interests of students are meaningfully related to contemporary development in society and the world of science and scholarship as well as to their personal life and history. You can meet other students, have a drink and broaden your perspectives by contemplating about sense and nonsense, religion and life.

HOST-IFES Groningen

HOST is a christian association for the international student. We believe that, while studying abroad, it is very important to meet people with who you can share a common ground. Therefore we have biblestudy-groups on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Fridays we provide different activities like a movienight, fellowship or cultural evening. Everybody is welcome to visit our activities. Our members are from all over the world and we always have a lot of fun, so don't hesitate and visit one of our activities. The Generation Church

We are Generation Church (GC), the youth ministry of the Helperkerk. For students (age 12-25) we host GC meetings on sunday evenings, special events and small groups during the week. Why do we do all this stuff? Because we´re passionate about God´s life-changing power to a new generation.

Saint Joseph cathedral

The Roman Catholic Church in Groningen offers Mass for English speaking people every Saturday at 5:00 PM. There is an English speaking community in St. Joseph's Cathedral. For students there are different groups to participate in, also with the Dutch students. The goal of the student parish is offering international students a small piece of 'home' in the midst of a foreign country with a foreign culture. Address:
