PR Coordinator

The PR coordinator is responsible for the managing of the information flow between ESN Groningen as organization and the public. The aim is to enlarge the brand awareness of ESN Groningen among several target groups in Groningen. Furthermore it is the task of the PR coordinator to protect and improve image of ESN Groningen.

This is to be done through controlling all outgoing texts, media, posters, flyers, promotional events and the website. You will not have to design material yourself, you’ll be helped by the PR and Graphics Committee. Also social media has become a big player into promoting ESN and its activities as well, so you will be the administrator of the facebook and twitter account of ESN Groningen.

Another task of the PR coordinator is acquisition of sponsors, and to maintain good contact with the current sponsors, this is essential to secure ESN Groningen’s existence. At the beginning of the year you will create an acquisition plan as well as a PR plan in order to make it a successful PR year. Again you will be supported by the PR and Graphics Committee.

Finally the PR coordinator is the final responsible for the ESN Card project. The ESN card project is an European wide project which gives the international students a kind of membership to ESN. Besides that, they also receive discounts in many shops, bars, restaurants around Groningen. It is your task to maintain the ESN Card concept and to improve its use.
