Code of Conduct

General

1. Enjoy alcohol and drugs responsibly (please be advised that drug usage is prohibited on ESN
activities)
  a. Be advised not to use alcohol and drugs at the same time
  b. If you decide to use drugs, please ensure that at least one person does not do this
and supervises the experience
2. Please take each person’s cultural background into account
  a. Some cultures don’t allow alcohol
  b. Social etiquette might differ from your home country
3. Please enjoy our hang-out, the Drie Gezusters, responsibly
  a. Please don’t break glasses etcetera on purpose
  b. Don’t bring glass out of the fenced area in front of the bar
  c. It is illegal in the Netherlands to bring your own drinks to a bar
4. Enjoy Groningen!

Activities

1. Subscribe in person
  a. Only subscriptions at the ESN office by one of the ESN board members are valid
  b. Subscriptions are only valid with the ticket you will receive upon paying
2. First come, first served
  a. Due to limited spaces on most activities spots might fill up quickly. We will use
      a “first come first served” rule to subscribing you for our activities
3. No refunds after the sign-up period
  a. As we are bound to advance payments to third parties we cannot hold your money
  after the sign-up period, even though we would like to do this
  b. We understand that something unforeseen might happen that prevents you from
  taking part in a certain activity. However, refunds are only possible by unsubscribing
  during the sign-up period
  c. Any claim expires two months after the activity started
